Hi Lads

Im looking for info on a leaking bung around the exhaust manifold. I barely seen it until i stripped away the turbo heat shield.

Here are the pics. I have seen one thread that said it was down to the oil cooler. but its clean, the only place that has pink coolant is from the bung back towards the bulkhead. nothing ahead. Im homing its a bung replacement.








Any thoughts would be appreciated.

If its the hex headed plug between cylinders 3 and 4 its a right cnut, I took mine out it slightly pulled the threads and needed some loctite to refit it, it held for the next 2 years before the car went.
If I had to do it again I would K-seal it, less than a tenner of ebay, unlike the old dog turd leak sealants this stuff actually works and is widely used in the trade.
Ive used it on many cars with great success.
