hi all
just wondering, why doesn't everyone use the lazy locking supplied?
it saves all the problems of water getting onto switches etc: by leaving windows or sunroof open,
is there an inherant problem with the system,
or is it that people don't know they have it?

read the manual,
or, leave a window open.close all doors and tailgate,then pressing the lock button, keep it pressed for a couple of seconds until you can watch the window close itself, if sunroof left open it will also close.

I don't have a sunroof, and as it has air-con the windows are always shut, so I don't often have a need to use it.

It is useful though when you spot something left open from your kitchen window and it means you don't have to put your shoes on and leave the house.

On a more serious note: if you use lazy lock does/should the car go into super-lock when everything is closed or do you have to release the remote button and press it again for the car to super-lock?

Hi

I think you need to release and press again to "superlock" as this does not engage off the first press.

If you press it once and keep it pressed it will close all windows etc then lock, if you press it twice and on the second press keep it pressed it will close all the windows and then activate the alarm.
