Can't make this year. Had to leave booking a ticket untill the last minute due to a work restructure and now she's gone and booked me doing something else. Shame really coz little'un really enjoyed last year and was up for it again for the 3rd year. We was even talking about taking the disco aswell this year and doing proper lanes aswell as the gaylander

They do that. Give them an inch and they'll take a foot; much more than that and you don't have a leg to stand on.

How many people still are planning to come but haven't bought their ticket yet ?

It'd be really handy to know as ticket sales have slowed down this week

Quick question if one may....
I've got my 2 tickets saved on my phone, will that suffice or do I need to print them?
Don't have a printer you see...or I would just do it.

Printing would be better, it's much easier for the site who then bill us if printed tickets are displayed in windscreens

I'm getting unable to verify card!,,,,,! Wtf ? Update, you got to sign up to the page before you can buy a ticket, strange way to do business but hey ho, see ya all real soon?

Have you got any sort of adblocker enabled?

Is there a planned schedule for the events anywhere?

Thinking of the laning and trying to plan when and where to get a decent fry-up in the morning!

Unlikely to be a 'proper' timed schedule yet. As previously we'll probably have a whiteboard up on the field near the marquee with events, timings, messages etc on it each day, or some other method of communication.

Green Laning will be Saturday morning ish, 10am to 11 am ish, for about 4 or 5 hours ish, but that might change ... ;)

There should be a burger van, probably more like a general catering van, for food if you don't want to cook your own.

Picture this - it's a glorious summers day. You start the morning by having a fry up in a bun with a nice brew to wash it down with. We sort out the groups that want to go laning - from those with their standard daily drivers who we've found beautiful picturesque but non scratchy lanes for to those who don't mind a bit more of a challenging and slightly paint squeeking oute.

You spend four to six hours getting to know a group of six members on here whilst seeing some beautiful Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Leicestershire lanes and villages with stops for lunch and a brew up.

You return back to the site just in time to grab a pint from the bar in the marquee and queue up to get your chicken curry and chips from the van ( other options are available but a bit short on the vegetarian options I will admit )

The music starts , you grab your camping chair, sit next to the multitude of log burners with your grub and beer and spend the evening chatting with friends you've known for ages, friends you've just made that day, talking about landies, wandering up to the inevitable open bonnets that spring up round the field. You can contribute to the general sucking of teeth that tends to happen or just listen and absorb stuff. More beer, more food and good company

If all that sounds like heaven ( and it does to me ) then buy your tickets to LZ12 if you haven't already :)

Update on access, at the moment diversion is in place to get to stanford hall, access is visiting junction 1 on the A14, not able to tell how long this diversion is in place so when travelling , all I can say is be prepared?

Will it not be on the RAC website / app?

The previous way to get there was at the cathorpe junction - with the M1, M6 and A14- this doesn't exist now . They plan to build a slip road off the new interchange but won't be done for ages

Easiest way is to get off at junction 1 of M6 and follow diversion signs - it's only about ten min trip from there to get to the campsite

I can see this going Pete tong for me....My Doris is driving the tratter with 2 kids I'm driving the LHD camper with 2 more kids and a sat nav, hope we don't get separated cos I'll never see her again if she has to follow signs n stuff.
If anyone spots an orangey 110 being driven by a crying woman looking lost just guide her in someone....
And tell her I still love her and didn't mean to go through the lights/enter the round a bout/pull out of the junction when she didn't have a hope in hell of following me...

Honest it's easy - especially if you're coming down the M6. It's one left turn at top of slip road, straight to roundabout and then second exit straight on - drive for about a mile then turn right at signpost to Stanford hall and it's straight along a country road till you reach it .

It's got diversion signs and brown tourist signs leading you straight there plus our homemade signs nearer to the site
