dont furget to think VERY CAREFULLY about what you want to isolate, because that will affect what current needs to flow through the relay.
If yu can tell me what you wish to isolate, and the current it is likely to draw
not really - coz they use different electrics - as stated above. What would yu want to isolate - i like the idea of the fuel pumpon a doozil. A petrol woud need to be a bit fiddly, else it cud be easily bypassed..

i have a minor prob with both of those yu posted, Trewy - both would work fine, but i think it would be better if the system used a "standard" relay, rather than a "special". It wouldnt look out of place and could be checked easily with any std relay.
