Just picked up a disco 1 v8. My last one had the factory fitted roof bars. Does anybody know if they can be retrofitted if I found took a set off one from a scrappie?

Yes the roof strengthening bars are already pre drilled, so using them as a guide drill upwards through the roof that will give the four holes u require.
thought that might be the case
