Hi all I have recently put in a v8 range rover engine to my series 3. With su carbs. I have fuel to

Replaced sd1 engine with range rover v8 engine on su carbs. Strong spark fuel to the carbs. But nothing going to the plugs. Fuel pump seems to work as it should. Any ideas thanks
 
What have you done to the engine ?
Was it running before? More details needed plesae.

Engine was running fine. Sus were ok but needed cleaning out float levels seem to be correct as they were working perfectly before. Just can't get fuel to plugs. Would it be worth putting fuel down carb throat to see if she will start and pull fuel through?
 
Were the carbs stripped and rebuilt before the engine was thrown in...

Are you 100% sure they're HIF SU's?

And not stromberg CD175s?
 
Anyway you look at it please take this Q to the V8 or series thread.
