Hey,

So i've heard that the Defender is one of the most nicked vehicles in the country. Even reading on here that a few people have either lost theirs, or nearly have.

I want to try and make sure it never happens to me.

I was thinking of having a tracking installed but is it worth it?

Could anyone comment on immobilisers?

Or if theres anything else to stop it being nicked.

Where I live isnt a problem at all so things like security posts are not needed. Though where I often travel too can be dodgy areas, anything that can be done?

Josh

If you would of done a search, this was discussed in length by ratty.
Find what he wrote and listen to what he said. He is just short of being a god on this as well as ryder

Quick question though, wasnt covered in the thread.

May be because its a bit silly, but is it legal to use the winch (if fitted) to secure the Landy further?

I.e. winching it round a lamp post or cycle parks?

Would probably only slow em down but still..
