Hi everyone, I've just bought my Series 2a over the weekend. It's my first land Rover, so keen to join meet ups, excursions etc. I live in London, so I'm guessing most of the fun stuff will be way out of town. Anyway thanks

It'll be fine, probably just bullies its way through and pushes everything except the buses out of the way

Yeah it copes ok, just need to take the cab off in the 28 degree heat! I cooked myself on Monday!!!

I know what you mean. It's hot days like yesterday which make me regret buying a lwb station wagon instead of something with an easily detachable roof.

I'll take Tylenol off completely for the while of next summer and I plan to get a full canvas roof at some point as well.

Nothing like driving a landy with no top on it..............until the British weather strikes. I try to leave my roof off from early April to October if I can. May put the bikini top on if really needed to drive and not get wet.

Does the bikini top come with a little crotchless number for the underside?

Yes can't wait. I need to get my door tops replaced before then to make I don't get wet all this winter
