I really need to paint the 90 as its been about 5 different colours (all at the one time) for ages now. I suppose that's what happens when you put it together out of different vehicles but anyway. I want to go for a green or a blue but I haven't got a clue about proper Landy colours and I want to at least make it look half decent. To that end can anyone suggest a proper colour that would be in keeping with the motor and perhaps even somewhere to buy such paint preferably to roller on

Land Rover Bronze Green... as sold by Paddocks... it's the traditional landy green

Though, it is shiny, realised, after painting some of mine that the rest of it was in a matt colour, so, it looks a bit silly now

coniston green is the modern green. which most farm defeners are, if not blue. If blue it will probably be marine blue. You will need to go to your local paint supplier, and ask for a cellulose paint with 10-30% matting in it, they will advise you. Get your self some foam rollers that will not be destroyed by thinners. The chances are they will not have land rover paint, so take a panel or a photo in and match it to one of the swatches from there paint system. otherwise you will end up paying hundreds for it. You will probably need about 4 litres of paint for two good coats, but if you are spraying you will probably need 2l as with cellulose paints you thin it 50% for spraying.

Why not give them a call and ask them any questions about the paints they can supply?
