Just wondering who has been on one of these days and if so what does it consist of?

Is there any similar companies other then the "official" LRE days?

I did many years ago, you share the vehicle with three others and take turn driving. They show you the basics of off road driving and explain diff lock 4 wheel drive etc, ok for a complete off road novice but a day at a pay and play will be better money spent.

I went on the full package in Solihull, great day, was awesome to see the factory where they're all built. The off road was great too in a new range rover and a defender.

Ive done 1.a gd day but bit pricey.shared driving with 3 people lots of gd info tho

Aint cheap. Missed the classroom stuff so cant comment on that. Turned up and jumped straight into brand new top of the range rr l322. Was good.

I used to work at loade lane so ive done a few laps around the jungle track there. Its great if your brand new but if you already know how your vehicle works then look at going to Tong in yorkshire - wakefield???. Google it, you will find it.

Massive area with loads of different graded routes, probably the best in the country for space and different terrains etc, properly purpose built.

That place looks fantastic.. Why does it have to be 3 hours away from me

It's the best site I've been to. You could come up for a day out n bring me them waffle boards ;):p

It would be nice to finally get them out the shed! :D

When it's open next month I will try and get down, will probably camp nearby on the Saturday night so I can have a lie in

15th sept but I won't be able to make that as I'm going wreck fishing for some big cod :D

October or November would be better for me. Second Sunday of each month

October is no good for me I will be going Morocco a few days later but November would be good :)

Anyone else up for it?

Novembers good for me. Will be a few I know going. I'll bang a thread up see if anyone off here want to come

Reason I asked is I potentially have an interview to become an instructor! As I've never been on one there days I'm not to sure what to expect?!
