Hey guys i am going to bite the bullet and get new blend motors for my p38. I think i can get a new set at trade price but what would be a reasonable labour figure for the job ?I dont know anyone locally to do the job. Cheers:rolleyes:
 
Officially lots as dash out, but guide on rangerovers.net shows some short cuts- two on right hand side can be done with pozi bit and spanner and 1/4 socket set
 
if you've def decided not to do it yourself then have a look on ebay theres a guy know advertises on there to supply and fit brand new motors for around £300 if i remember correctly.

thanks for that. Doing it myself is not possible ( i know my limits )so i will try and find this guy on ebay. Would be grateful for any other ideas from anyone.....

I have used a guy just off Muttley Plain, he changed my drive plate as it was not phyiscaly possible for me to do it, has a RR himself although L322, if you are intrested Pm me and i will find his number.

I wouldn't use Labour try the Tories or Gaydems they say they can do everything for half the price.

I had mine chaged a year ago by a chap who runs Mobile Land rover services. The chaps name is Jason and he tends to travel from Birmingham to wherever you are and has been known to travel a few hundred miles at a time. Give him a call on 07903077948 - which reminds me I need to call him myself to service my Range !!:doh:

Yeah true. It always amazes me that a load of multi millionaires can tell us money is not everything and Cameron can set up a survey costing millions to find out what makes people happy. Security that's the simple answer. The security that having enough cash to pay your way brings. Give a tramp a tenner a day and he will be happy give him twenty a day he may not be any happier but he will be twice as secure. Money does not make you happy i suppose, but you can afford to be miserable in comfort.:eek::eek::eek:
 
Try Alfords Motors in Saltash. Speak to Kerry he's a top bloke and a Land Rover Specialist, he used to work for Roger Youngs until he saw the light and started his own business, if you cant find him on net PM me.

thanks for that i had spoke to him but he thought the job would tie up the space in his workshop for too long,nice guy though.
