Don't know how they work, but the hand book should tell you. If you are parking on lit 30 MPH speed limit area you do not need parking lights. You only need to display them on an unlit road but the car MUST be facing the correct way. You CANNOT park facing flow.

You could pop to the local skip hire place, they have a single front back light unit they use at night.
Attach it with some blue tac to the side furthest from the footpath you just parked on........

1. I cant find it in the handbook or the online handbook.
2. It will be parked in rural areas not in lit areas same as my old L322.
Pretty sure that don't have that facility, you might have to get creative with a 12v LED and a switch
