Hi All

I have a 2003 Range Rover Vogue with the mirror powerfold option, when i press the button to fold the mirrors they fold fine, but when i press it to extend the mirrors the drivers side does it fine but the passanger side extends fully then clicks twice and jumps like its trying the extend further.

Any ideas

Thanks

Matt

Hi Mate

Yer just bought it, the dealer is giving it a full service and replacing a few bits of trim, air filters etc.. for me and a pair of front discs, but they wont repair the mirror extending issue and the heated steering wheel problem as they have had a price from land rover for a new mirror for £420 and they said theres not enough money in the car to include the replacement mirror in the cars sale price so im trying to find ways i can repair these issues myself first without buying a new mirror or heated steering wheel before i collect the car next saturday.

Thanks

Matt

take the back off the mirror, if you get that off without breaking the clips your off to a good start. inside you will see a microswitch mounted on plastic which moves/ breaks, depending on what has happened to yours you can repair it with some patience.
