My ignition switch is playing up. Some days it works fine, next time you need to work it a few times to work. Once car starts all is ok. Then it can stop working a couple times, then fine again. How do I replace it and pair it to the car if I get a second hand one with new keys?

no need to replace the lock...just the switch pack...I take it it is the electrical side that is duff....or is the mechanicals...or the steering lock!??

Everything else is fine. Just doesn't start sometimes, next day it's ok. So it's probably the electrical part. I've ordered a new part for the switch that has the contacts.
