New battery in,lcm unbolted but despite pressing in what I believe is the release tabs on the loom connectors I cant release them,don't wont to force an smash them....rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Been a while since I removed the LCM....shouldn't be that bad to release...maybe yours are quite badly corroded and they have 'welded' themselves on!!

Got it.I was pulling when I should have be sliding sideways.New one on and all seems to be good.Original info still there to so £65 for a new battery and a very cheap £45 for the lcm,over the moon lol.Thanks again lz members.

Yes the original mileage etc will still show...but there should be a small black dot on the mileage indicator, showing that a component has been changed.
