According to the chassis number I ordered a new oil filter. However it does not fit. The old oil filter has a screw thread at the bottom and the pressure valve inside. The oil filter housing looks the same as the original.

The local Land Rover dealer does not have a solution.

Where can I buy an oil filter, which fits in my car?

If its an m62 engine it does not have a screw thread filter, some 1 may have replace the remote oil filter housing with a different bmw part.

I checked the part number of the oil filter housing. It is: 7 511 169. It is the same as in the BMW X5, but with the new filter. Is the housing the same for the X5 as for the RR L322 with the M62 4.4 BMW engine?
