Can anyone advise me on what wheels to get for my 2004 vogue.I got 18" vogue wheels on it,would like to get 20"s but a few people have said it affects the ride i.e not as smooth ? She drives as smooth as it gets now [perfect] so i dont want to spoil that. But the original wheels dont really fill arches and look small. Also If i get 20"s will i have to change wheel nuts ?

19 or 20 should be fine. They made those sizes as standard anyway, so I'd be suprised if there is much difference in ride comfort. When you start looking at 22s etc then you might start having problems, but I've heard really mixed things - some people say it ruins the ride, whilst others have said they noticed no difference at all!!

Shouldn't need to change nuts if you go for original LR 20s.

You should be able to pick some 19 or 20s up fairly cheap as there are plenty of people who put 22s on, then stick their old ones on Ebay just to get rid of them.

Mine on my picture are 19s if you want a bit of a comparision of size. I'm sure there will be people with 20s on here if you look around.

I have just fitted some genuine 20 inch rr sport bbs split rims with 275/40/20 tyres seems no different to me so far
I is seriously blinging now

bigger, i got 22s and it made no difference to the way it rides. 24s fit on them and look stunning, they fill the arches nicely but i dont know about the ride on ones that big.

Is it a TD6? 19" & 20" wheels were never offered as an option on the early diesel models due to torsional oscillation problems in the driveline that caused the car to vibrate when stationary and in gear
