I've decided to bite the bullet and buy a set of Koni HD shockers found them at a what I think is a good price (£230 for the set of 4), they're going to be the standard non lift model or maybe the plus 1" if it wont affect the handling too much and make it more prone to rolling over.

But my question is which springs should I put on with these shocks to get the most out of them ?

Also if I was to go for the lift how bad would that be for my ride ?

Fooking hell that much my pro-comp ones cost 180 for all four plus gaitors
As for springs Then bearmach do good ones for about £30 each. How much you lifting it depends on the ride change.
 
Also if you want to lift it an inch there is quite a bit to do a complete kit from mm 4X4 is about 390 and has most of the bits needed
 
I've just ordered some bearmach blue springs after asking on here and got some recommendations. Were £55 for a pair from devon4x4.
 
I got a kit from 4muddyfeet which included 4x procomp +2" shocks and 4x bearmach +2" springs(standard ride not heavy duty) delivered to the door for £227!!
The ride is nice and comfy but not too soft,the only difference is the steering is a bit more sensative but it dosn't wander and it self centres. All in all I'm well happy with them for the price :)

Well I wanted the Koni HD ones just to help make the ride a bit stiffer as I dont like the current feeling of wallowing in corners and a set of decent springs so I could get the most from them

The landy will be used for light offroading but thats about it nothing heavy, all other driving will be on the road and I want it to feel better when driving
 
Well after a bit of internet trawling I found a set of Monroes (4 of them) for £150 (£160 delivered) so I think that might be a better buy. Probably not the same grade as the Koni's but I'll be happy enough to use them for a few years with the Britpart HD springs as they're cheap, gotta be savvy :( Insurance is dragging me down at £1280
 
Wouldn't nock them there good shocks.
Have you checked your anti-roll bushes and links to see if they are causing the wallowing your on about

Try 4x4mailorder (google it cos I cant do linkies!). Pro comp shockers with boots, bearmach springs, plus nuts bolts and securing rings for a smidge over 200 quid with free delivery. Thats a bargain. Various lifts, and std or h/d springs...and they wont sag like sh#tpart springs. Thats a decent quality package for bugger all!

ive had procomp ,didnt last ,i have had britpart yellow springs and gas shockers on my own for over 3 years still good,far better in spring and shocker than bearmach ones ,fitted a lot and only had good reports ,monroes not worth it may as well fit std,whatever some of there pattern parts may be ,there suspension kits ive found very good value

Speaking from experience unfortunately. On the car for 5 months and had sagged beyond belief. However, I do know of folk who swear by them. I just swear at them :D Quality control was very hit and miss for some time with their springs. It may be better now...
