then today i replaced my starter motor and there was no top nut on the bloody stud... im seriously not happy why are garages like this allowed to run.

im trying to find out where the last owner got it serviced and repaired so i can worn people.

I always pay on the nail for evarything, so easy and eficient, saves on reams of paperwork, stamps,accounts, blah, blah! I just give em a cheque when they deliver.
Been delivering cattle round farms an small holdings for years, just take an unguaranteed cheque, sometimes thousands of pounds. Iff peeps aint there I have just put the beasts in the field and they sent the cheque. Never been a problem at all

One of my customers recently changed his car for a Discovery 300Tdi and called to show me his new motor, you'll not be getting anymore work from me he said cos I'll be doing all my own now. We chatted for a while and he kept rubbing in the fact that anyone can fix a Land Rover.
So far I've done the swivel seals, starter motor, drivers door latch and serpentine belt, he's just too busy to do the work himself apparently.
