Hi,

Where can I get a spare remote control key fob for my 1999 Freelander? The remote I have is marked Lucas 17TN.

Our nearest Landrover dealer is about 150 miles away.

Flea bay do them but i think you have to take them to get programed .

That's what I thought. I was hoping not to have to do that as the nearest Landrover dealer is a long drive from here. Wonder if they can do one by post?

It does need to be programmed to the alarm ECU using Test Book or other diagnostic equipment , the only other possibilities are someone who has a mobile diagnostic business or a local garage with the same equipment, many garages do use it.
