Are you trying to programme a new key to your Disco, if so I believe you need Nanocom or similar

no, its not a new key. the only key seems to have lost sync

why? what's happening....it's quite rare to just lost sync just like that

There's no such thing as key sync procedure for the D2 only programming.

Ours "forgets" the remote function on a regular basis, but resets itself if we manually unlock the car, it then works OK for a day or so!!!

Has the key stopped locking / unlocking or the car wont turn over.if its the latter mine did this thought key had lost sync.turned out to be dodgy connection small terminal on starter motor.removed cleaned re fitted sound ever since.

yer, key wont unlock or lock doors, or turn over , ill check for loose connections today

see if the red LED in the dash is constantly on while u try to crank it...if it is it's immobilised and u need to introduce EKA code ...or try with an other roof receiver cos if the receiver failed(it can be bad earth too) and u unlocked with key the car is immobilised(i suppuse it was set for "key never" which means the alarm is armed/disarmed only by the fob)...in this case the only way to remobilise it is with the fob or with EKA... not even the tester can comunicate with the BCU while it's immobilised.

sorted was loose wire, i think. tightened everything i could find then bingo, dont know which one it was tho. i got movement on most of them
