I have a 2009 disco 3 and came with only one key so i purchased an aftermarket key which i cannot get to reconise the car with my NANOCOM and i see that there are 2 mhz ones and wondered how i can tell which one i have by either the VIN number or the original key fob.
I have had the blade cut and the ignition can be turned on but will not turn over the engine .
the new one should be 433 mhz

Hi

Indeed for the uk it’s 433 mhz, on ur original key there should be writing on the side with the mhz data on it

May I plse ask was the key u got brand new , sorry can’t help as not familiar with the nanocom

I programmed my new keys on my d3 using an autel ap200 , plus my gap iid will also program keys

Mine also came with one key so bought a brand new one off eBay for around £50 , then when I programmed them I realised it does both the original and new key one after the other and disables any other keys not present

Where about did u buy ur new key plse , hopefully someone will be along who is familiar with the nanocom who can assist further

Hope that helps
