Key #4? That's a new one on me, I though key #3 was the limit.Should be printed on the back. Failing that you need electronics. Marty can do it and so can mrsporty (probably Rick too) but other than that it is main dealer. Most people order key #4 on assumption it came with 1 and 2 and maybe 3 was ordered last time!
You'll be lucky, some dealers seem to think that only key #1 is available.cheers, the fob is in a shocking state! no label of any kind remains. I need to go via the stealer to get a fob so they can identify it for me then
Yes, because you would only be able to sync one of them. The safe option is usually to order Key #3 but you may have a fight to get a stealer to agree.would it matter if i ended up with 2 number ones?

Fair enough, like key #3, functionality will be limited.Yep. My new one is key #4.
Can you elaborate?Fair enough, like key #3, functionality will be limited.

The key I've got doesn't adjust the seats, just mem1 and mem2 buttons on the seat
I thought you could programme it so that it went to the correct driving position depending which fob was used?
I'm surprised you'd have memory buttons and key memory, assumed it would be one or the otherJust realised I might be mixing it up with the Jag. Still, you'd think if a 1990 Jag did it the RR would too!
I need to try this!! Now!! HmmInstructions in owners manual ( these are on rave) how to sync seats mirrors to a key fob
It works! You learn something new every day haha!
'lazy seats' only works if you have superlocked the vehicle
I've now answered my own question!! Seats adjust to memory position 2, so my key must be key number 2!!
Order key number 1 and I'll be sorted!! No fancy electronics required![]()
