Hi guys, I imagine this has been covered before but I have been searching and haven't found an answer..

I've pulled my dads old Kenlowe hot start (the older block type) out of his V8

Problem being I want to install it on my 300tdi.

I have the original instructions but I cant seem to figure out what hose plumbs into where? The heater has a coolant pump and has two hoses coming out of it, so it needs to make a circuit.

Attached to the IN hose is a plastic unit with 3 hose connectors.. but i dont know what hose goes where.

Currently I'm thinking that I can get rid of the plastic block as I wont need to heat two cylinder heads and plumb it into the heater matrix IN hose?

Any help is much appreciated or anyone who posts photos of installation I will love forever

when cold the stat is shut, so heating the matrix up is probably not the wisest, try before the stat

The heater matrix is continuous flow, stat only blocks the rad, plumb into the heater circuit on the hot side.

doh! i thought he meant radiator
