The main reason they are fitted to LPG vehicles is to overcome the problem of the airbox being blown apart everytime the engine backfires. This only applies to singlepoint LPG though, multipoint shouldnt do it. If you can, stick with the standard airbox, it flows cooler air to the engine and will stay clean for longer.
