Could anyone one here make me a straight through tail pipe for me 200tdi 90? As I cant weld, I cant really make one myself. Looking for one on the dirt cheap side . But then again how expensive can it be for such a short section of pipe?

U can buy straight thro pipe but I think the rules of mot now has changed. Not sure mate my ex mod na has box in middle and the tester said that has to be fitted but the rear silencer don't.

There is only one straight through tail pipe for the 200tdi that I can find and its £105 from Janspeed. It says it wouldn't fit without the mid pipe but I think that's bollox going off the image.... Anyway ill give someone £50 if they make me a reasonable one

Most exhaust places will make one up for you if ya roll down there and tell em what ya want.

I had a local landy garage (Herts) cut out and weld in a bit of pipe to replace the center box. This wasn't enough for me so I replaced the back box myself. It wasn't that hard. Its not welded at the moment however if it does look like its going to fall apart then ill get it welded together. Its pretty solid though. My exhaust mod

Yes I did see your thread, I already have a straight through mid pipe so that's fine, Because the mid pipe finishes in the inside of the chassis, higher up, it makes things difficult. Also, ignore my stupidity, how would I clamp a flexi pipe or whatever to the mid pipe when the end is flared to accept the back box?

Cut the flared ends off. You'll also be better off removing the exhaust to work on it.

what size pipe is it again 2.5" isn't it? Only thing is, If I want to put the back box back on for a long journey / mot then It wont fit properly with the flared end removed ?
