Are the three triangles where coolant hits the source of my combustion gases in my coolant system?
They are all corroded to the point theres holes can these be filled/welded?
Or is it time to look for a new head?

Looks possible especially where the blade is, clean the face (I 'back-scrape' with a stanly blade to remove the gasket stuff & wash down with petrol or thinners) & check the damage

As to if its weld reclaimable that is something you'd have to speak to a local ally welder or machine shop about, not too easy to diagnose looking at on my phone

Look on the bright side, I don't think '200 heads crack like '300's do so chances are if you get a second hand to replace it should be ok

Thanks Rich, and yh also to compliment that(where he blade is) the piston below that had coolant in it aswell.
just another problem they keep coming lol..landrovers aye haha
Il be interested to know if anyone knows if the welding can be done? trying to find a decent 200tdi heads near on impossible(anyone got one about)????..

I've been looking for a few weeks on ebay, gumtree etc. The only one on ebay has been one thats skimmed an rusted in the same place. Due to give the same problems in the end im thinking.
You/ anyone know anywhere i can look im based in essex/london
