My P38 was converted to springs before I got it. I am considering refitting air springs but in the meantime I have lost a bump stop! (it has a tendency to hit the bump stops on a regular basis on severe speed bumps - another good reason to revert to air springs).

What I need to know is, would they have been replaced with a different type of bump stop when the conversion was done or are they all the same coil or air springs?

looking at the convesions on ebay none of them have diferant bump stops in the kit so i would guess there the same

ebay - good idea... only problem is, the first one I looked at does have different bump stops and similar to the one I lost.

and the one on Microcat looks bigger in the line drawing, just like this one on Britcar's site

Oops, I think I just answered my own question - told you it was probably daft : /

So the next step is... is anyone breaking a P38 with springs and can provide me with the flatter style bump stop?

I worked out that my conversion was from Atlantic British and they want silly money to send me one.
