M mrbond New Member May 18, 2012 #1 Just had a recon gear box fitted in our 109 pickup 'Suffering Sophie'. Currently have to hold the gear stick all the time to keep her in first gear, otherwise it jumps out. All other gears are fine. Any ideas anyone?? Please!

Dippypud Never Knowingly Understood Full Member May 18, 2012 #3 Check mainshaft nut is tight , you can get to nut by removing plate on top of t/box just behind gear box. sometimes selector not moving fully
