anyone got any idea whats wrong withn my series 3? when it gets up to 30ish it judders and jerks like its out of fuel, gear stick jams when it goes in reverse
 
Sounds like a fuel problem until you mention the reverse problem. It could be unconnected but it sounds like a gearbox is on your xmas list.
 
the reverse problem is i put it in gear release clutch and it snatches, press clutch again and gearstick is jammed, got to select 4wd and low box to release it
 
Sounds like your gearbox innards are not too well, JamesMartin is the guy to ask, I am not too familiar with the cogs n' wheels inside the box.
 
Have you got any oil in your diffs and steering balls?

Have you got FWH fitted?

Does it make any noises, or does it just judder?
 
got oil in diffs etc, got fwh fitted, it don,t make any noises, it is just like its running out of fuel, if i stop, then set off again its fine in first, second, third is ok till its nearly ready to change to fourth, then the jerking and juddering starts, change to fourth and its ok till it approaches top speed then it starts again.
 
got oil in diffs etc, got fwh, no noise, first and second gear is fine, it starts jerking in third at medium to high revs, change to fourth and its fine till it gets to medium to high revs
