hello,
I've gone and cursed myself again!!!!!!!!
posted on a thread about bad rusting of the sills a few days ago and stupidly said 'mine ain't too bad'
today i poked my finger through one of mi sills!!!


thing is when i got this motor in November it had a full mot, should it have failed for this?
do i have a case to complain?

need some advice before i get involved with vosa (if i have cause to)

any help appreciated, cheers

If it's real bad and not just an isolated patch, then yes you have.

Also matters if its near a seat belt anchorage or body mount. usually within 6 inches is a fail.

an MOT is only an inspection of the vehicle on the day that it is done.
3 months later.....???

poked about a bit (much as i dared) its two holes about an inch-ish each more or less center of the sill

like pushing ya finger through bread, don't think it would go so much so quick.
says on the back of the mot slip 3 month for corrosion 28 days anything else you think isn't right

Thought it was 300mm around a seat belt mount or body mount not 6"
