:) Hi everyone,
I am a new member and have owned a 2001 Freelander TD4 GS from new. Covered 45000 miles. The main problems I have encountered over the years have been (1) 2xClutches (2) Fuel pump replaced
I have scanned through about 40 pages trying to find an answer to my present problem but to no avail. It concerns yet again Air Conditioning.
Recently I had noticed a rather loud vibration/Rattle when de-excellorating with the Air Con on. This has become much louder and resembles a dry bearing/pulley rattle. I have booked it in to a local garage whom are quite mistified and have not had dealings with this problem before. My question is, If it is the compressor at fault, is the clutch a seperate service item, if so has anyone any idea of the cost. The A/C is working OK lots of cold air entering the cab. Has anyone encountered this problem ? Many thanks John

Soz Javlin - still tryin to find out wot "de-excellorating" is.

cant see how that wud affect the air-con.
