anythings possible, no doubt you'd need a gearbox bellhousing adaptor if planning on keeping the disco box, engine mount modifications, fuel system may need upgrading depending on pressure needed at the injectors, spigot bush adaptor, custom spigot bush or crank modifications and you'd also need a new cooling system as I doubt the rover one would suffice

May also need to modify shock mounts and engine bay metal work depending on the size

What he said

Just wondering the mpg of this conversion...

May need to fit saddle tanks on the chassis to get between garages lol

Just checked it should fit. Whats the xjs's power? Might tip a standard disco if its too powerful.

Depending on which year between 265 and 290 bhp, how much is the chevy 5.7? Dont think it will tip it

What about installing a Jaguar V8 4.0 or 4.2. Loads of torque, loads of power, very economical (relatively).

Loads available cheaply toooo.

Hmmmmmm i wanted the v12 coz everyone has done v8 its not really about power or economey its about achieving the extremes of insanity
