Evening all,
My Disco has a distinct lean to the OS without a driver. It's about 2" lower than the NS. Measured numerous times on numerous level surfaces.
It started a few months ago with old +2" Pro Comp Springs (Britpart?) on the front and new +2" Medium Terrafirmas on the rear. Binned the Pro Comps and fitted +2" Medium Terrafirmas on the front.
Sill leaned. Did a lot of research to see if they were handed. Terrafirma ignored two of my emails - very nice of you (I will not be recommending you to my worst enemy). I contacted three of their suppliers, RST Landrovers and Ribble Valley 4x4 Ltd said they are not handed and Adventure 4x4 said they are. Nice to see the info is consistent.
Swapped the springs today (only 2 or 3mm difference in height) and they still lean!!
I've checked the axle mounts and they are solid and straight as are the top mounts on the chassis.
Any input from guys would be much appreciated - positive, negative or sarcastic.
Its a 300TDi fitted with a 2.8 TGV, Winch Bumper but no Winch, A Bar, Steering Guard, Tank Guard, 2nd battery and HD Rear bumper. It has lots of other mods but nothing that would add much to the weight.
To add insult to injury - I've just nipped to the tip and as I turned into the drive the header tank split and pumped water and steam everywhere!!
