and bought another hippo.
Gone and got myself a 05 HSE TD4 to go with my 52 SE TD4(up for sale soon)
Needs a few things sorting out but it was bit of a steal.
Problems to sort out :
Turns over for a few seconds before starting when cold (52 starts on the button)
Tailgate handle needs looking at, loose on the right hand side
Headlight lenses a touch discolored

Obviously its going to get a full service,egr bypass, new hoses and a complete once over
Any one know what colour the gold trim on the dash and handles is?

It's just called champagne and it's hard to get the paint. I'm thinking about doing mine in gloss black.
For the headlamp, I use Maguires. It's brilliant stuff for the money

That's the stuff. It's fun using it too!! I've done my SE headlamps a couple of times since I've had it.

Your starting problem could be the heater plugs and I think I need some meguiares
for my eyes lol

how come my SE has a power socket in the rear and the HSE doesn't

The power socket in the rear, where? The rear of the centre console or the boot? The boot was definitely an option. I not sure about the rear of the console, but my SE doesn't, yet.

Sockets are sorted, so is the leather armrest
Just the MAF/Ron box and VCU to do now

Anyone know how to remove te green mossy stuff from the window rubbers

My HSE did not either but I brought one from main steelers as for the moss on the rubbers I got a brush and hot water but after winter it is back I have been told to use some caravan cleaner whi ch I have not got round to doing yet
