Finally picked up my fender last night 
On the way to work this morning, and the landyness has begun...
Raining a bit, so reached for the rear wiper to give the back window a quick wipe, switch it on, nothing, driving down the road, and I get that hot electrics smell from the back, 2 secs later, no guages, dash lights or indicators.
just got to work, seems the rear wiper motor has seized, its the only thing on the landy i didnt check (doh)
ah well, disconnected it, and new fuse, all sorted...
