Hi all

was driving my disco just turning out the driveway and stalled it, went to restart it and it will rev the just die again. i recently replaced the floor and remembered i hadn't taken the poly bag i put over the brether hole off (havent driven it since replacing the floor) so i sorted that out and tried to bleed the system but its still the same anyone got any ideas please. i can get a small vaccume on the lift oump but not much.

Have you checked the fuel lines from the sender ubit on top of the tank?

1. the unions need to be really tight or they will draw air .....

2. the metal pipes that protrude from the sender are prone to rotting out and will then draw air due to perferations in the pipes.

Thanks chap, have just chaecked the pipes from the tank and where the come out of the sender unit the outlet looks like a pin cushion. i have put some liquid metal round it for now and will order a new one at the end of the week.
