Got the final coat of paint on the 90 today
and now due to start bolting down the rear tub and seatbox. In an effort to avoid the electrolytic mess that happened with the original bodywork, I'm trying to isolate every mount that bolts to the galv chassis.
Most of the body mounts under the vehicle have been isolated with small bits of rubber sheet but it's a bit thick to use between the rear crossmember and the tub mounts. The tub is already a tight fit against the brackets with nothing in there.
Is there any reason why I can't cut small rectangles from the lids of those clear plastic chinese take-away tubs and use them like washers between the 2 surfaces?
Sorry if this is a really stupid question, but I'd rather get it right first time
Cheers,
Harry
