Saw this on gumtree, says its in "really good condition", the guy wants £200, Ita a 100 amp petrol powered Welder/generator...what do all think, worth a buy?

Its a bargain if that's a honda gx engine there worth that much alone ad go forever

Would it be ok for doing patches with it as its only 100 amps?

Its an arc welder , probably from the USA , so with a briggs and stratton motor usually .If you need an arc welder great if not leave alone , there's better out there .

Honda Powered....would be looking to weld exhausts, trailers, make brackets etc with it

Honda good , do you need an arc when a mig is SO much easier

Was thinking stick because its easier and gas aint cheap...not looking for a neat job

A half decent 2nd hand mig is £200 tops , use co2 gas from a beer supplier , 5 kg roll of wire £12.00 will last an age . good welding and neat , and it's eaier than arc .
