i have seel folk using twin shocks on the front on landy's but never n the back ? would a 300tdi disco benefit from another pair of shocks ?

Not really.

I believe the twin shock setup was invented for long distance touring and round the expedition driving.

so posibly a second set of dampers to throw on the back for towing long distance may be an idea ?

Im not sure you can get a double for the back. They would snap wouldn't they?

never seen them before.

I was thinking in the same style as the fronts side by side. would definitely snap on articulation.

Think the top pic would work better than the bottom for articulation as no chance off them touching each other
