i have the death wobble diagnosed: drivers swivel bearing and passanger wheel bearing. this weeks jobs but now my brakes have virtually gone. pedal goes all the way to the floor. fluid level is fine and no leaks anywhere.

its the wheel bearing mate, when they are shagged you get pad bounce from the wheel wobbling, it pushes the pad and hence the pistons back so the first pump of the pedal just moves the effected pads out then the second pump actually has some braking force.

it should clear up once you have done the bearings, but if one wheel is shot then it is well worth checking the others too they will probably need adjusting at the least.
