I have a warn xd9000 I'd like a faster line pull but the £££ carnt afford a 8274,

I have a series wound motor 4.6 hp, if I get say a 6 hp motor that will fit my winch will that mean faster line pull?

Surly it's no this simple.

Surly Wiltshirelandyman will pop up soon with an answer

You can find them on merc diesels with double batteries.

I got one a couple of weeks ago. was good of you to look for me though
if you get it ebay it:)

As long as u dont want your motor to last too long u can over volt it but i wouldnt use it too much and for long periods of time a bow motor 2 is the easiest upgrade the one i put on my 8274 is unbelievably strong and a very fast pull
Any winch just relys on a decent power source a standard alt and battery will only keep up with the demand for so long before the power drops off and the winch is slower
A 2nd alt in my opinion is better than over volting your existing motor

Just wondering why the need for speed, in comp yes but messing around at the weekend ?
i would like to fill mine up with gigglepin parts:Dbut do i need them...........no

but would still like to have them:D
