My D2 is going in tomorrow and currently the headlining is out due to some 'repairs'....but the thought just crossed my mind on if it is needed for the MOT

any thoughts?

Cheers

I doubt it as it not an integral part of the vehicle movement or chassis. As long no internal lights or electrical equipment involved in the headliner dangling in vision of a driver view outwards of the vehicle. If it was the case a lot Defenders Commercials and CWS would off the road by now.

Hi, many years ago Datsun cherry cars didn't come with any interia lining, so i would imagine it won't count. Someone on here will no doubt know for certain. Hope it passes. Dave.

I cannot see it being in any way an MOT failure, But if in doubt why not call the MOT ctr and ask.

Cheers

Headlining is not a testable item, so no .....unless its sagging so bad and in front of the driver it obsures the drivers view of the road
