OK, I've been doing some research to see if I can plug my iPod Touch in to the Freebie. The answer depends on whether you have a pre or post facelift car: mines a 2005, therefore post facelift.
This means it's more complicated as the FL5 radio doesn't have a line in - the CD changer is integral.
You can use an iTrip-style device via FM, but they're not all that great in terms of sound quality.
So the best option is to replace the radio with an after market head unit. There are lots on the market, but check they'll work with your iPod as they vary.
You will need a facia adapter and a wiring connector, which together cost
about £30. After that, the world's your lobster.
I've been looking at Alpine units that can also work as a Bluetooth car kit, and they do double height units too which will fill the space more.
Not cheap, but should work well.
If you've got a pre facelift car then it's easy - either get a plug-in adaptor as mentioned in other posts, or replace the head unit as it's a standard size.
