just had it plugged in by a nice bloke for a brew it came up front passenger wheel sensor showing a fault, would this be a new front hub job as the sensor is connected, I have had a look at the sensor and it dosent look great prob as old as the car cleaned connections and no change.

Almost every member with experience of this problem will say "Change the whole hub".
It's highly unlikely that you will ever repair the sensor system in the hub, so don't even waste your time trying.

It's okay if you have your own nanocom etc and have the time to muck about adjusting/replacing the sensor. But I was paying £30-£40 every time lights needed resetting so quickly went for changing both rear hubs when mine were playing up ("intermittent (both) rear sensor faults")
