Hi All,
My intercooler hose got split today loosing power when using turbo. Is there any problem to still using it to get to the garage? Would change it myself but we wanted to go to Germany tomorrow night so not really got time to get the hose and so on. Did some patchwork using some 3M duct tape.

no problem with using it but you will have lots of black smoke and low power

Just make sure you are in front of the open top sports cars when you move off.

They will stay a long way behind you

Just repaired my intercooler hose using an empty tin can (apricots) both ends cut off and duct tape. Job looks remarkably good & got me home with no smoke.

great idea :clap2: when you get a new one get the silicone one from DPH the far out last the old type

Hi Teddywood
Just replaced all mine with the DPH ones (Gareth was very helpful) not sure which ones had gone but belt'n'braces and did them all £90) - Nice bright Blue
Did EGR Bypass as well (£30) - big difference :high5:

Hi All,

as I am in ordering the hoses I was wondering what those ones are goods and if the sizes they cover are of use for me to change some of the other hoses as well?
