Just wondering if the interiors are interchangeable throughout the different specs? I'm off to look at a td4 with a horrible cloth interior tomorrow. If I could leather seats/rear ones/ door cards etc would I be able to swap them straight over?

I know heated leather wouldn't be quite so straight forward.

Would think that if it's the same model-e.g. Freelander 1, 5 door, that the interior would be a straight swap. The wiring harness for the heated seats may, or may not be present.
Of course, you could not fit the interior from a 5 door into a 3door or vice versa.

Yeah, thats what I'm thinking. Had a quick look on the bay and can pick up the interiors. Not cheap cheap but not massivly expensive either -if that makes sense lol.

hi

my 3 door useto be a commercial and converted mine to a 5 seater, got a whole interior including door cards, centre console, front and back seats, all in cloth for 400 quid

if i may also say make sure u get as many clips, screws, bolts, brackets etc

it also seems wiring looms from 2002 onwards are different than earlier models, as when i installed cruise control in my auto all the wiring was already there, where as someone else who had a 2001 didn't have the wiring there

also there are two different seat options on the 3 door models, one with a rear centre console and 60/40 spilt rear seating

plus irishrover is also spot on ref 3 and 5 door interiors being different

hope that helps
