The rear of my 90 roof is just bare metal, I have read of folks adding roof lining consisting of camping roll mats and the silver foil stuff used for carpets or roofing.
Anyone have any advice, want to tackle this at the weekend, the roof currently drips due to condensation I think, what do you use to secure I have a glue gun so was thinking of using that..
Thx

I lined mine with silver foil insulation stuck it with spray adhesive then carpeted over the top done the trick in mine

Noise is a lot quieter and it is a lot warmer in the back just need to do the front now and the glue was what came supplied with the roll of carpet I bought

Just brought some camping mats, £4.99 each for the sides , I already have roof lining. haven't thought about sticking it yet but high temperature adhesive sounds like a good idea.
It's black so I might leave it as it is for the moment.
If it's not ok I might cover it with automotive carpet.

I used the b and q foil with spray on highntemp glue. Happy with the results.

Likewise good stuff makes a big difference to heat and noise loss. Still get my wet knee when I pull off in the morning but thats my alpine window seal leaking...:D

Cheers all will take a look at the suggestions, going to finish it off with either standard carpet or car based stuff. Looked at the proper land rover stuff and its silly expensive even second hand !!
