im replacing the inner wings on my disco 1 next week any hints n tips before i start ????

Not got much to offer but take your time, make sure you treat any surrounding rust that isn't bad enough to replace and paint well after on both sides

i dont need a full weld do i tack or puddle/spot would do would'nt it

If your putting full new inner's on,you can spot weld where ever was spot welded when it left the factory.But don't quote me on it.

I think you can spot it to the bulk head,but where new metal meets clean old metal its got to be seem welded.PS if it's structual it's gotta be welded propper.

oh bollocks, ok a full seam weld it has to be then i was hoping just to spot but so be it
