Afternoon guys,
did my chassis swap over xmas, is all looking sexy but I got quite a bit of vibration that weren't there before, mainly where sealant and stuff perished and I haven't replaced it as I don't want moisture trapped! I do remember these big chunks of foam inbetween the inner wing and chassis rail, think they were stuck to the chassis actually. Is this common on a 200tdi 90 or does it sound like someone stuck it there?

Yeah its a tricky one, can't find them on any of the websites and can't find anyone else mentionning them on forums, can't be a good idea to have foam soaking up water and mud surely?

Sounds like someone did it instead of adjusting the inner wing so it was away from the chassis.

well it must be a coincidence then, because mine had the stuff fitted to the lower edge of the inner wing as it goes up against the chassis/bulkhead. Was it an oblonged section about 1 1/2"x 1" and about 12" long?
